General Analysis:
Cold front from elevated showers enhanced by synoptic front?

The Chase

Heading home I swore I saw a flicker on the horizon. So I turned on the AM radio, set the dial to 710 kHz and within 30 seconds heard a lightning crash. I quickly pulled up the radar on my cell phone and saw a crappy line of showers. As I got closer to my house I saw what looked like a nice shelf clud turning into a roll cloud! I did not have time to get into a nice location since it was moving pretty fast but it did make for a nice surprise. COOL!

Roll cloud visible on the right horizon in the photo, there was a CG that just missed the radio tower in front me. The storms sucked after that LOL.
