"Looking for the nader"

v1.jpg (41513 bytes)
Dave called bright and early... 11AM ish which is the equivalent of 5AM for me. I was recovering from the previous chase when he thankfully alerted me to the storms as I began to nowcast for him. Things were going well until the storms all suddenly began to weaken rapidly. Still not sure why but probably a product of the Niagara escarpment. Anyway as the storms approached I figured I would headout to see what was going on. Yes just wonderful, it was pouring outside...

There was nothing but scud! Scud everywhere! WONDERFUL... lol

At least the scud was rising.. or well, trying to.

This big thing to the south caught my attention. It was actually the only real storm near me. There was a wall cloud trying to form underneath but nothing ever did happen.

Ah yes... more scud, at least it was warm (19C with a dp of 15C). Still can't believe there was actually a nader in KW.
